
Morgan Bailee Boggess McCoy, MSW, CSW
Bailee Boggess McCoy, MSW, CSW, is a freelance writer and editor. She specializes in health and wellness content, as well as working with nonprofit organizations or other small businesses.
In addition to her work as a writer, she is mental health clinician, specializing in adoption, trauma, and identity development. She is also a consultant and enjoys working on community-based projects and research.
She has also worked as a clinical research associate an Alzheimer’s disease research facility where she performed neuropsychological testing on older adults and facilitates research projects focusing on Black older adults and racial trauma.
Her scientific research has been presented at the Alzheimer’s Association International Conference and published in the Journal of Alzheimer’s Disease and Associated Disorders.
She received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Georgetown College in 2018. During her undergraduate, she also studied neurolinguistics and developmental psychology at the University of Oxford. In 2021, she earned her Master’s in Social Work at the University of Kentucky in 2021.
When she’s not writing or researching, she enjoys playing with her dog, trying new cuisines, reading, and traveling. She’s also a true crime enthusiast, a passionate creative, and a poet.
